How frequent shall I send my pet for grooming?
Frequency of grooming depends on individual pets. Generally, pets go for basic grooming once every 1-2 weeks to maintain cleanliness of their nails, ears and private part. For those with longer coat, they will require full grooming once every 9 - 14 weeks to keep their coat in shape.
Is the grooming session safe?
All pets at Pet Playground, be it big or small, will be leashed when being groomed on the grooming table. This is to ensure safety of your pet and prevent potential accidents (yes, bungee jumping from the grooming table is dangerous!).
This is the first grooming session for my pet. What should I expect?
First times are never fun as your pet is probably confused on what's going on and anxious on what's next. However, we will have an assistant to help and calm down your pet during the grooming session if your pet gets too anxious. There isn't much to worry about - normally by the third grooming session, your pet would have already memorized the routine and learn to relax :D
How long will each session take?
Basic grooming takes 1 - 1.5 hours while full grooming takes 2 - 3 hours, depending on your pet breed and size. Our groomers are trained to handle pets gently and thus, prefers not to rush and stress out your pet.
Making an appointment will help you and your pet save hours on packed days.
I didn't know that I can ever bath my rabbit safely until Joanne explained to me. Glad my bunny had her bubble bath and nails trimmed. She's now clean and fresh! - Loh Jessie
I'm truly very grateful to have found this grooming centre as they groomed my shihtzu very well. Previously, my shihtzu is very scared each time he goes for grooming and I didn't know why. Later I found out that it is because his nails bleed most of the time when being cut~! When Bobo was first being groomed at Pet Playground, he was also struggling when cutting nails but Joanne was so careful not to hurt him. After a few times, now Bobo is more confident with grooming and I always see him very happy after grooming. To date, I've sent Bobo to Joanne for more than 6 times and I'm very glad to know that he's more confident and not traumatized anymore when cutting his nails! Thanks Joanne and keep up the good work! - Mandy Tan
Reasonably priced and very well with handling my english cocker. Two thumbs up! - Chan Boon Khim
